Sending your mail with a Quadient franking machine is extremely fast and easy. You only have to complete four steps:
1. Weigh-in the item (envelope or parcel) on the inbuilt scales of your machine.
2. Select the class of the mail you would like to use.
3. Select any further requirements, the message, and the logo you would like to see franked on your item.
4. Place the envelope (or a label for parcels) upwards on the feeder and feed it into the machine. The correct postage will be printed on your item and you will be ready to send this to your customers.
That’s all there is to it!

With Quadient, you will have peace of mind by not worrying about constantly controlling the ink levels. You will be notified when your ink cartridge is about to finish.
With an ink cartridge, you will typically be able to frank:

• 2,000 letters with the IS-280
• 4,700 letters with the IX-3
• 5,700 letters with the IX-5

Far from it. Quadient products are all connected via LAN, and come with self-install guides. But just in case, you can always contact your Quadient representative if you have any questions.

You can post franked mail in your nearest post box using metered mail envelopes, which can be used to post up to 30 items per day. You can also hand it in at your local Post Office or post it in a franked mailbox.

Yes! Quadient has a recognised Information Security Management System (ISO 27001). We’re also regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and we’re approved by An Post.

Yes, service is included with our local Dublin-based telephone support for whenever you need it.
